Water Eject is a free utility app that plays acoustic tones to remove water from your device's speaker. This policy explains how the app handles your data.
We collect no personal data. Water Eject does not collect, store, transmit, or share any information that identifies you.
The Mic Test feature requests the RECORD_AUDIO permission to record a short 5-second audio clip so you can verify your microphone is working. This recording:
The permission is requested at the moment you use Mic Test — never at app launch. You can deny it and the rest of the app works normally.
The app plays sine-wave tones through your device speaker. No audio is recorded during Eject, Speaker Test, or Manual Tone modes.
Water Eject is 100% offline. It requires no internet connection for any feature. The app does not make network requests except to open your browser when you tap Rate on Play Store or Privacy Policy (both open your default browser to an external URL).
The app contains no advertisements, no analytics SDKs, no crash-reporting services, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Tapping Rate on Play Store triggers Google's In-App Review API or opens the Play Store listing. Any review you submit is handled entirely by Google and subject to Google's own privacy policy.
Water Eject does not collect any data from users of any age. It is safe for use by children.
If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
