Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection

SubTrack does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information you enter — subscription names, amounts, dates, and notes — is stored exclusively on your device using a local database. No data ever leaves your device.

2. Internet Connectivity

SubTrack does not require or use an internet connection. There are no analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or remote logging systems in the app.

3. Notification Permissions

The app requests permission to send local notifications for payment reminders and trial-end alerts. These notifications are generated entirely on-device and no notification content is transmitted anywhere.

4. Optional: SMS / Notification Access

SubTrack includes an optional feature that can read incoming SMS messages or notifications to detect possible new subscriptions. This feature:

• Is opt-in only — it is not enabled by default.
• Reads message content only to look for known billing patterns using on-device pattern matching.
• Does not store, upload, or transmit any message content.
• Can be revoked at any time via Android Settings → Apps → SubTrack → Permissions.

5. Backup & Restore

The backup feature exports your subscription data as a JSON file to a location you choose on your device. The app has no access to this file once you save it.

6. Third-Party Services

SubTrack uses the Google Play In-App Review API to occasionally invite you to rate the app within Google Play. This interaction is handled entirely by Google Play and is subject to Google's own Privacy Policy. No personal data is shared with the developer through this mechanism.

7. Children's Privacy

SubTrack is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
