Ghonestapps ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Smart Whiteboard mobile application. This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Application.
Smart Whiteboard is built with a local-first privacy model. All drawings, lesson pages, sticky notes, shapes, and tables created within the app are stored locally on your device storage. We do not transmit or store your whiteboard content on remote servers.
The app requests camera access exclusively for scanning physical documents, textbook pages, or notes. Image processing is conducted on-device using Google ML Kit Vision. Images are processed in real-time and are never uploaded to any cloud server.
Prompts submitted to the AI Teaching Assistant are processed securely via Google Firebase AI (Gemini API) to generate educational explanations. No personal user identifiers are attached to these prompts.
The app uses Google Play Core libraries to check for and install application updates automatically in the background without interrupting your usage.
